Guy Rescues Bear Cub, Raises as a Family Member
Most of us consider it cool to own an unusual animal for a pet, but a grizzly..? American naturalist Casey Anderson would see nothing odd about that. Almost 10 years ago he rescued a 5-month-old bear from an overpopulated sanctuary, and the two have never parted ever since.
As a cub, Brutus the bear needed care, so Casey bottle-fed him and rubbed his aching belly when needed. Today, Casey’s best friend is already a 9-year old grizzly bear, weighing around 800 pounds.
Aiming to educate the public about the misconception of bears being cruel beasts, Casey is keen on letting Brutus have a seat at their dinner table at home. As it that wasn’t enough, Brutus also served as Casey’s best man in his wedding back in 2008…

This is awesome. I like to think that people have bonds with animals. I mean it would be good to think that for his whole life, Brutus wont rip any of his families faces off. I hope he doesnt.
