Exotic Restaurant by a Waterfall in Philippines

Here’s another thing to add to your bucket list or holiday destinations: eating in a restaurant right by a waterfall, with the water actually running over your feet!

You can find it in San Pablo City in the Philippines, in a cozy hacienda-style resort called Villa Escudero. With a buffet type of lunch, served on bamboo leaves, it would definitely be an unforgettable way to try some of the local foods.

The resort is named after Don Arsenio Escudero, who built the country’s first hydroelectric plant to supply his coconut factory back in 1900′s. The Labasin waterfall is thus a spillway from the plant’s dam, whereas its reservoir was transformed into a lake for the visitors to go rafting in traditional bamboo rafts and explore other facilities that the Villa has to offer.

In any case, looks like there are hardly any empty chairs in the restaurant during lunch hours!
